Batman & Philosophy Intro

About a month ago I went to Chicago for a conference with GCM. It was my first time to Chicago ever. I very much enjoyed my time there. Chicago was big… very big. Anyway, on the way home as I went through the airport I stopped in a bookstore to look for a book for the flight home. I was intrigued when I came across a book entitled Batman and Philosophy.

It is apparently one book in a series of philosophical discussion using popular tv shows/characters as the jumping off point to dive into philosophy. I’m pseudo-interested in philosophy and Batman is one of my favorite superheroes. Naturally I bought it. I want to share with you a review of each chapter as I read it.

This is just a teaser to get you interested, but the fiesta chapter review is coming right now…
