Rev. 21:1-2, 1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.
In the Lord’s prayer when Jesus teaches us to prayer he instructs us to pray for “your kingdom come, your will be done
on earth as it is in heaven”. According to Barclay’s commentary, to be ‘in the Kingdom of God’ means that we offer God complete and total submission to his will. If we have Heaven here on earth that would look like all of us Christians obeying God to the point that his love would overflow in everything that we do so that every person we encounter can’t help but to see God in everything we do.
How are you bringing Heaven to earth right now?
